Artist Alley 2024 Portfolio

Intro

Hi, I’m Katie, the Founder of 2Scale Studio and I make story-driven collectibles! I started the studio in 2023 taking my personal savings and pouring it into this studio alongside heaps of passion. October 2023 we launched our first original comic series through Kickstarter which after successfully being funded, has given me continued conviction in following this dream. In the current catalog, you will find our first original collectible statue “Rhylee”, the first issue of the Construkt comic book, themed apparel with my own original designs, and other art pieces like prints and stickers by me and collaborating artists. This will be my first year ever attending conventions as an artist alley vendor, and I hope that it allows us to build an audience, sell more product, and promote our next Kickstarter launching Issue #2 this summer.

Aside from doing all of the studio management (business operations, outreach, content, marketing, etc.), I either directly create or heavily contribute to all of the products that the studio has currently. I have 10 years of experience in product development, and have trained and studied in studio art with a focus in statues which is where I hope to continue focusing most of my energy as we grow. For now, I wear many creator hats for the studio including writer, letterer, colorist, storyboard artist, production manufacturing, statue painter, sketch/concept artist, and more which you will see directly reflected in each item below.

Note that all work we sell is our original IP and items we own full licensing/rights for :)

This is a render of our 2024 setup.

Modifications:

  • Setup is similar for 8ft tables, easy for us to re-arrange things or bring our 3rd statue colorway to have a full statue display! I have additional table cloths of the same color for larger displays.

  • Note this is only our first con shown here, more items will be ready for cons in summer/fall months and the display will have a few more things in it and I will be using a different mockup I have that allows for display of more prints and stickers. For cons after June, we will have our 2nd Issue Kickstarted and there will be more books available.

  • For partially nude prints, we use covers to keep them out of view or can put them into a portfolio book. We can remove from display with proper notice.
